Know Your N-Power Payment Issue And Deadline To Resolve It - 2016 Beneficiaries


Dear 2016 N-Power Beneficiaries, here is an update from N-Power concerning payment issues experienced by many of you. Please read carefully to know what the the problem is and how to resolve it.

So If you are experiencing payment issues, please kindly identify which of these categories you fall into and rectify your issues before the 16th of October as directed by N-Power.

If you have been told your issue, please hurry to rectify the problem.

There some people who can't be paid all their backlogs because their accounts cannot take beyond a certain amount so backlog of some months is returned.

You have to be persistent to ensure that your issue is dealt with at your bank. Go and Address It Now!

Here is the breakdown of the NPower Payment Status – 2016 Beneficiaries

1.      There are currently 182,347 qualified volunteers.

2.      Only 173,046 volunteers are able to receive payments.

For those unable to receive payments

a.       5,520 qualified beneficiaries are without account records on their NPVN profile

b.      684 beneficiaries have ‘’Know Your Customer’’ issues between the volunteer and bank

i.e expired IDs, Account dormancy, recently closed accounts, transactions are not permitted 

       c.   2656 qualified beneficiaries with BVN unlinked to provided Account Numbers

       d.   190 qualified beneficiaries have invalid account numbers/invalid BVN

       e.   107 qualified beneficiaries have NAME mismatch issues

All those who are having payment issues are given till the 16th of October, 2017 to sort it out at their end. Please take this seriously. All you need to do is to check your NPVN status to identify your payment issue then go to your bank to rectify its as soon as possible before the deadline (16th October, 2017).

Also for those who have rectified their problem, be patient your backlog will come to you this month. Once your account can receive them all.

NOTE: If you rectify your payment issue after the12th day of the month, you will receive your payment the following month. So those that rectified their payment issue after the 12th of last month will receive their payment from this month.
