A company located on Lagos Island is recruiting for an experience Chief Financial Officer. The person will be accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
Job Description:
1. Execute financial strategies of the company.
2. Manage relationship with investors.
3. Monitor cash balances and forecasts.
4. Arrange for debt and equity financing.
5. Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
6. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
7. Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
8. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
9. Represent the company with investment bankers and investors.
10. Maintain banking relationships.
Reports to: CEO
Supervises: Head, Accounts
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred)
Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA or CPA)
12 years post charter experience in senior financial managerial position.
